Swamp Thing are a power Blues/Roots duo comprised of Grant Haua on vocals/guitar and Michael Barker (ex John Butler Trio) on drums/percussion/vocals. Influenced by artists as diverse as Keb Mo, Professor Longhair, Lightning Bolt and The Meters, the original music Swamp Thing play embraces that loose, funky feel synonymous with deep southern blues while adding their own style which they call "a good ole funky boil up." The infectious rhythms of Swamp Thing are sure to have you dancing, whooping and howling for more.

A born entertainer, Chanelle brings honesty and passion to the stage not to mention a sense of humour. From songs that could easily pass as jazz standards to upbeat country tinged pop, her beautiful smokey voice and thoughtful lyrics are reminiscent of Norah Jones or Duffy. Chanelle has released two albums of her piano-based pop music, and performed across America, Australia and NZ.
